About Acupuncture

Acupuncture consists of inserting fine needles of various sizes into the body at specific points.  These points have been shown to be effective in treating specific health problems.  the points have been used for over 2,000 years and there are over 500 points on the body.

Acupuncture can treat pain, sinusitis, colds, the flu, IBS, hypertension, fibromyalgia, menstrual irregularities and pain, infertility, PMS, menopausal symptoms, tennis and golfers elbow, sciatica, carpal tunnel syndrome, arthritis, depression, anxiety, migranes, post-stroke paralysis, side effects from cancer treatments, weight loss, smoking cessation, and drug addictions among other disorders.

A single treatment may resolve acute conditions.  Chronic conditions will need more treatments.
